1:1 TRAINING / GROUP TRAINING & ONLINE TRAINING POLICY
Upon enrolment of your Training Course, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions below.

SPARKLE BY MAYA PTY LTD complies with Australian Consumer Law in regards to refunds. We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the course that your choose to enrol into or accidental purchases. Whilst course fees are non-refundable, the decision of assessing the extenuating circumstances and refund requests with the Managing Director and shall be assessed on a case by case basis with their decision being final.
Cancellations/Reschedules:
There are two sections to this policy. Section 1 relates to the cancellation of the student’s training course, not including any Online Courses, within the 48-hour cooling off period. Section 2 covers cancellation of the students training course outside the 48-hour cooling off period.
Section 1.
Under the terms and conditions of this agreement, the student completing the training course is subject to a 48-hour cooling off period starting from the time of initial booking fee/deposit payment and may terminate the enrolment. This is not including any Online Training Courses available due to the course being an immediate enrolment and start. Sparkle By Maya, will refund any fees paid within twenty-one (21) days of receiving written notification of cancellation in the cooling off period.
Section 2.
Cancellation of the training course enrolment outside the 48-hour cooling off period.
- A non-refundable booking fee/deposit is paid at registration or upon enrolment.
The remaining balance is to be settled in full prior to or on the day of the student’s first training/course day.
- Training course/s cancelled later than 10 days prior to the first day of the student’s training course will be charged 50% of the tuition fee.
- Training course/s cancelled 48-hours prior to the first day of the students training course will be charged 100% of the tuition fee.
- Training course/s cancelled later than 10 days prior to the first day of the student’s training course will be charged 50% of the tuition fee.
- Training course/s cancelled 48-hours prior to the first day of the students training course will be charged 100% of the tuition fee.
Once training course has commenced, you are committed to the full paid amount of the tuition fee in full, even if deciding to not continue or complete the training course, for various reasons.

Termination by Sparkle by Maya:
Sparkle By Maya reserves the right to terminate this enrolment agreement under the following conditions:
- Failure to abide for any of the criteria listed in the regulations or
- Action upon a complaint by either Sparkle by Maya employees or educators or
- Sparkle by Maya reserves the right to cancel an enrolment or cancel training if the educator deems the situation as unsafe, threatening and poses a risk to the educator and students health, safety and well being.
COVID-19 Sick Notice / Snap Lockdown
If a student is not feeling well, or is sick prior / during the training course, the student is required to notify the educator immediately.
We are accommodating as best we can however if due to the circumstances and we are unable to continue operating as per normal we will reschedule students enrolment dates; Those that are unable to reschedule will still receive their kit and credit towards future services and/or training such as (Online Training Courses available).
If the students training dates are affected by a snap lockdown or are unable to make the training dates due to COVID-19, we will do our best accomodate and reschedule your training dates to match your best availability. We do require as much notice as possible. If we are unable to meet a date to reschedule your training dates, you will be enrolled to our Online Training.
Force Majeure Policy
In the event that Sparkle by Maya cannot contract with you as scheduled hereunder because it becomes impracticable as a result of an Act of God, accident, fire, incapacity, labor controversy, riot, war, civil commotion, act of government, terrorism or other cause outside the control of Sparkle by Maya, We shall have the right in its sole discretion to RESCHEDULE WITH YOU AS SOON AS REASONABLY PRACTICAL after the end of such force majeure.
Sparkle by Maya shall reschedule the training hereunder as soon as reasonably practicable following the date of such occurrence. In the event Sparkle by Maya is prevented from performing obligations hereunder as a result of any contingency which is beyond the control of such party (such as interruptions in Sparkle by Maya travel schedule or unforeseen unavailability of Sparkle by Maya), Sparkle by Maya reserves the right to reschedule training. In the event that a Sparkle by Maya training cannot be conducted because of a lack of minimum student attendance,Sparkle by Maya reserves the right to reschedule the training.
Online Training Course/s: Cancellation and Refund Policies apply to the Online Training Course by Sparkle by Maya
Online Training Course/s:
If purchased via Credit Card, PayPal, BNPL options such as, but not limited to “AfterPay, Humm, Splitit, and Payright payments made are non-refundable as it is an immediate enrolment and instant access to the course.
Deposits/Booking Fee:
This Section relates to the deposit/booking fee settled of the student’s training course.
All payments made are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposit is also known as a Booking Fee and is a part payment of the full amount of the tuition fee.
The Booking Fee is to confirm the date/time of the student’s training position in the academy. This fee also covers the costs of the Professional Kit, Training Supplies and organisation and preparation prior to the student’s training course which takes a considerable amount of production.
We understand life is busy and unforeseen circumstances can happen. In result, the student may not be able to make it to one or any of the training dates. In the event of this happening the student may need to reschedule, we appreciate that the student provides a 24-hour notice prior to reschedule or give the chance for the date/day to be filled by another client or student. This is simply a considerate act, booking fee/deposit is still non-refundable; any cancellations/reschedules within 24-hours incur a fee. This is to minimise last minute cancellations and minimise no shows as a growing business.
We do not refund due to "change of mind".
Invoice: All invoices created have a 24 to 48-hour period to be settled until the invoice is cancelled. Once cancelled, the training dates given will then become available to other potential students. There is an added 10% GST fee to all invoices created.
Guests: There is a no guest allowed policy as there is limited space. No children Allowed.
Age Requirement: Sparkle by Maya has a strict minimum age restriction of 16 years old for students.
Sick Notice: This Section relates to any student enrolled and completing the training course.
- Unfortunate circumstances happen such as being sick, a 24-hour notice is required to notify Sparkle by Maya, cancellation policy is strict.
- Sparkle by Maya educator/s reserve the right to cancel and reschedule training dates if the student is unwell or ill.
- Sparkle by Maya reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons that arrive on the premises unwell, intoxicated, disorientated or under the influence of substances any kind.
- All models must sign consent forms for liability and insurance reasons and agree to photos being taken for training purposes.
- All models confirm that the retention of lash extensions may not last as long due to trainee practice, any mistakes made the educator must fix at the time of appointment, if however the model reaches 72 hours or longer and experiences discomfort, Sparkle by Maya is released from all liability .
Legal:
If any student or person (current or past) defames Sparkle by Maya, whether it be libel or slander, Sparkle by Maya have the rights to strip all certification and merits. Sparkle by Maya also have the rights to remove all obligations, including but not limited to, Legal or contractual, with the student or person.
General Release:
As a condition of enrolment, I agree to be bound by Sparkle by Maya regulations and policies. I agree that Sparkle by Maya education and training or any successors, assigns and parties related in any way to (‘Sparkle by Maya’) on the condition that Sparkle by Maya will not be responsible for (and I grant Sparkle by Maya an Indemnity in respect to) any claim for personal injury, loss or damage whatsoever which may occur as a result of any act or an omission of Sparkle By Maya and, or my attendance at a Sparkle by Maya premises.
